Blue tungsten oxide solubility refers to the solubility of blue tungsten in the water in the absence of special note, almost zero which means that it does not dissolve in water.

For example, zinc 'dissolves' (with effervescence) in hydrochloric acid as a result of a chemical reaction releasing hydrogen gas in a displacement reaction. The zinc ions are soluble in the acid.
