Blue Tungsten Oxide Grade
Blue Tungsten Oxide, which is short for BTO, is a kind of tungsten oxide. Blue tungsten oxide is powder shaped and blue displayed.
Blue tungsten oxide is a finely divided blue-violet crystalline powder. It is produced by rotary calcining ammonium paratungstate at closely controlled temperatures in a reducing atmosphere. CTOMS produces two standard grades differing mainly in oxygen content. Blue tungsten oxide is used primarily for the production of tungsten metal powder and tungsten carbide.
According to the difference of impurity content, blue tungsten oxide can be divided into two grades: WO2.9-0(special grade) and WO2.9-1(first grade). The impurity levels are specified as follows:
